What is the Instagram Post Viewer?
Instagram posts are permanent photo or video items shared on a profile grid. A post can contain a single image or a carousel of up to several slides. IGScope's Post Viewer collects the public post feed for a username and displays each item with its caption, engagement counts, and date.
You can use this tool to research a public account's content, verify captions, or save posts for personal reference. Downloads are available when the source media provides a public URL and when downloads are enabled in the environment.
Only public posts are accessible. Private accounts do not expose posts to IGScope, and deleted posts cannot be recovered.
How it works

Enter the username
Type a public Instagram username or paste a profile URL.
Open the Posts tab
Click Posts on the result page to load the public photo grid.
Preview or download
Click a post to open the modal and use Download if available.

Open the Post Viewer
Navigate to /instagram-post-viewer. The tool accepts a username, @handle, or Instagram URL.

Search for the account
Enter the username and press Search. IGScope fetches the public profile and content tabs.

Switch to Posts
On the result page, click the Posts tab. The grid shows the most recent public posts and carousel items.

Open a post
Click any grid item to view the caption, engagement counts, and full-size media in a modal.

Download responsibly
If the Download button is enabled, you can save the post for personal offline use. Only download content you have permission to use.
What can you see in a public Instagram post?
A public post typically includes one or more images or videos, a caption, hashtags, a location tag, the post date, and aggregate counts for likes and comments. IGScope shows these public fields in a consistent layout.
Carousel posts are shown as a single item with a visual indicator and navigation controls inside the modal. The exact number of slides available depends on the source data.
Single photos vs. carousel posts
A single-photo post displays one image. A carousel post contains multiple images or videos that a user can swipe through. IGScope marks carousel items so you can tell them apart from single posts.
When downloading a carousel, you may receive only the currently selected slide or all slides, depending on how the source provider structures the media links.
Responsible use and copyright
Public posts are still owned by the creator. Downloading for personal reference or offline viewing is generally acceptable, but reposting, selling, or modifying content without permission can violate copyright and Instagram's terms. Always respect the rights of content owners.

Troubleshooting
Post does not load
The post may have been deleted, the account may be private, or the media URL may have expired. Try searching again.
Carousel shows only the first slide
Some source providers return only the first slide of a carousel. This is a data limitation, not a display bug.
Download button is missing
Downloads may be disabled by the environment variable ENABLE_DOWNLOADS or the source provider may not expose a downloadable URL.
Image quality looks lower than expected
IGScope displays the highest-resolution public URL available. Some posts are uploaded at lower resolutions.
